YouTube Creator to Real Estate YouTube Strategist. Here's the journey of my 10,000 hours on YouTube that I now dedicate towards scaling real estate channels.

TheObsessionThatStarted It All
I'm an obsessive person. When I was 17, I fell in love with the board game Settlers of Catan and set a goal: to become the best player in the world.
After 2000+ games and 3,000+ hours of study, I became the youngest person to compete at the Catan National Championships. I ranked 21st at the 2018 USA Catan Championships. But my passion eventually evolved. Instead of just mastering the game, I wanted to create the definitive Catan content on the internet. I launched my YouTube channel and began my YouTube journey.

Over the next few years, I built the largest Catan channel in existence. Through countless experiments, failed videos, and gradually overcoming camera shyness, I developed a deep understanding of what makes content work.
I didn't just post videos. I became a full time YouTube creator with this channel.
This wasn't just a hobby. My channel generated a full-time income through ad revenue and sponsorships, allowing me to truly understand the business side of content creation.

TheYouTubeCreator’s Struggle

The journey wasn't always smooth. Like many creators, I experienced burnout cycles—starting strong, stopping, starting again. I intimately understand the loneliness and challenges of content creation because I've lived it.
YouTube is hard. It can be isolating. The constant pressure to ideate, script, film, edit, optimize, and analyze takes a toll. I've felt that weight personally, which is why I'm so passionate about supporting others through it.
ThePivottoYouTube Strategy
After dedicating several years of my life mastering and teaching the Catan, I was starting to get bored.
This is when I met Luke. He is an ambitious young guy who wanted to get into YouTube. I LOVE working with ambitious people and turning their vision into reality.
I invited him to live with me for 1 month and spend the entire time teaching him YouTube (totally for free).
We made a video together at the end of the month. It performed pretty well It performed pretty well. (2.3M views on a brand new channel).

After his apprenticeship, I helped him get job offers as an editor from Airrack (16M subscribers) and Bryson DeChambeau (2M subscribers).
I realized that I'm quite good at YouTube strategy, and I could translate creator’s visions into results.
GEN:From5K to 250K

Around the same time, I started working with more YouTube creators as their YouTube strategist. GEN was one of my first major clients. I fell in love with his mission to create a media platform for the political middle ground – to see nuance and understand both sides of arguments in our polarized world.
I took him from 5,000 subscribers to 250K subscribers in 1 year as his YouTube Strategist. I completely revamped his channel:
Redesigned thumbnails for all videos with 50K+ views
Directed shoots, helped with structuring the video, detailed feedback on each video
Ran over 100+ A/B tests which lead to an increase of 5,000,000 extra views
Helped build his entire production team
Some of my favorite videos I’ve made:
Some notable things I did:
Helped hire an editor
Came up with ideas, titles, and thumbnail concepts
Film and direct the shoots
Hired external consultants to grow the team’s knowledge
Review edited footage
Curate interview questions for subjects
Review and edit
scripts
And probably a lot more I didn’t mention.
Run over 100+ A/B tests
Updated all his old thumbnails (any video that has 50K views or more I updated the thumbnail)

Our first team meeting trip

The first thing I did for Gen was to change his titles and thumbnails for the past 10+ videos. His videos are amazing, but the packaging was the issue preventing growth. Every video that is above 50,000 views on his channel, I’ve optimized the packaging.

This was probably my favorite A/B test series. The video was stuck at 5,000 views. I knew this video was a banger and I did many A/B tests. 8 months later, it finally blew up at 700,000 views!

Sprouht:30K to 300K
subscribersinjust3months
My work with Sprouht represents one of my most explosive growth cases. We worked together for just 3 months, and I took him from 30K subscribers to 300K! It was one of the most intense work periods of my career.
I completely transformed his operation.
Here were some of the things I did
Hired thumbnail artists
A/B test a ton of videos
Hired Virtual Assistants
Built systems to make videos
Completely revamped his content strategy
Completely revamped his YouTube shorts strategy
Analyzed his analytics and came up with a content plan
Came up with Ideas, titles, and thumbnail concepts
Reviewed edits of videos
Hired long form and short form editors
The results were immediate. His videos went from averaging 5,000 views to consistently hitting 500,000+ views.

After his apprenticeship, I helped him get job offers as an editor from Airrack (16M subscribers) and Bryson DeChambeau (2M subscribers).
I realized that I'm quite good at YouTube strategy, and I could translate creator’s visions into results.

NoahKagan:Scalingto1M subscribers
My experience caught the attention of Noah Kagan (1M subscribers), who hired me as his YouTube CEO to run his entire operation. I created him a custom website (click me!) showing my knowledge, expertise, and how I'd transform his channel. It's what made him choose me as his YouTube CEO and to lead his team.
As his YouTube CEO, I:
Launched his book through YouTube (Million Dollar Weekend)
Created his most viewed video ever (8.1M views)
Ran a TON of A/B tests to optimize performance of his videos
Led his entire YouTube team and strategy
Helped him reach over 1M subscribers

My favorite videos I created while working with him:
A quick example of all the AB test variations we would do when testing his videos to consistently get over 1M views per video.

Noah's book was all about how to start your first business. And it began to inspire me. I asked myself: where can I serve people best? Where do people need my help the most?
That's when I decided to specialize in working with Realtors on growing their real estate channels – combining my YouTube expertise with a market that desperately needed it.
So I left my CEO role with Noah and started my own business – which is what you're reading today.
